Screen printing is the process of pressing ink through a stencilled mesh screen to create a printed design.To make screen printing frames, fabric/ mesh is to be pasted on various frames. Air fast Adhesive instantly secures the fabric to frame be it metal or aluminium. For wooden frames, high viscosity cyanoacrylate glue is available which fills the gaps present on the wood surface & strong cohesion is provided. Air Fast Spray Activator further increases the fixing speed without any difficulty. The video attached will give you further insight with respect to the process.

Properties

• Single Component CA Adhesive
• Air fast Adhesive instantly fills the gaps & holes which are naturally present in the wood, otherwise pasting will be very difficult.
• Many brands are available in the market but they are very thin in consistency, due to which they get absorbed by the wood. Air fast Adhesive is thick & does not get absorbed by the surface
• Air Fast Spray Activator is an accelerator which expedites the adhesion of the high viscosity gel glue.
• Air Fast spray activator is non blooming & does not leave white marks after the application.

Cure time

3-5 minutes

Safety Measures

• Read the instructions before use
• Always wear gloves for protection
• Keep away from eyes & out of children’s reach
• Always close the lid firmly after use, otherwise the quality may get compromised due to moisture in the air.
• If the glue sticks to your hands, remove it with the help of acetone/ warm water.
• Use well ventilated area.
• Do not panic in case of an accident, rush to a doctor

How to use

• Assemble frames on the stretching machine.
• Put the fabric/ mesh on the frames & tighten them with the toggle clamps to tighten the fabric.
• Stretch the fabric completely.
• Apply Air fast Adhesive over the frame boundary & the fabric & spread it evenly.
• Spray Air fast Activator, to decrease the curing time of gel glue.
• Once the desired adhesion is obtained, cut the fabric with a cutter to separate the frames.
• Similarly, the whole procedure can be done to make aluminium & metal screen printing frames.
